At New Mexico Military Institute (NMMI), Diego Pavia completed 189 of 323 passes for 2,644 yards and 31 touchdowns with only 4 interceptions. In 2021, during his final season at NMMI, he helped lead the Broncos to win the NJCAA National Football Championship.
After that, Pavia decided to play college football at New Mexico State. Diego Pavia had an amazing game against Liberty when his team was expected to lose by 24.5 points.
