Education and Career
Tejaswini Manogna was born in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. She studied at Rosary Convent High School and was an active member of the National Cadet Corps (NCC). At the age of 16, she was honored as India’s Best NCC Cadet and Best Shooter among 1.3 million cadets from the Indian Air Force, Army, and Navy. She also received the Young Achiever Award at a South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) meeting in Sri Lanka.
In 2017, she graduated as a medical doctor (MBBS) from Osmania Medical College. Alongside her medical career, Tejaswini is a trained Bharatanatyam dancer, accredited as a professional by Doordarshan and India’s Ministry of Culture. She has performed at national and international events, including in the presence of former Indian President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. In 2017, Tejaswini competed in the Miss Diva 2017 pageant, winning the subtitles Miss Talented and Dazzler Eterna Best Makeover. She reached the top 6 as a finalist.
In 2019, she was a top 3 state finalist for Femina Miss Telangana 2019 but didn’t advance to Femina Miss India. Later that year, she entered the Divine Miss India contest, where she won the Beauty for a Cause subtitle for her environmental projects.
