Career Journey Of Ezekiel Elliott  

As a true freshman at Ohio State in 2013, Ezekiel rushed for 262 yards and two touchdowns, mostly playing as a backup to Carlos Hyde and on special teams.

In 2014, Elliott earned several honors, including being named the Offensive MVP of both the 2015 Sugar Bowl and the 2015 College Football Playoff National Championship Game.

Before the NFL draft, He was considered one of the most complete running backs since Adrian Peterson in 2007 and was expected to be picked in the top 10. He was selected by the Dallas Cowboys with the fourth overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft on April 28, 2016.

Against the Patriots in the AFC Divisional Round, He rushed for 125 yards on 22 carries, helping the Cowboys fall 34–31. He joined only Duane Thomas as the second rookie in Cowboys history to rush for 100 or more yards in a playoff game.

In 15 games and 14 starts, He tallied 231 carries for 876 yards and 12 rushing touchdowns, along with 17 grabs for 92 yards. He then signed a one-year contract with the New England Patriots on August 16th, 2023.
