Career Journey Of Gudakesh Motie
Gudakesh played for the West Indies Under-19 team in the 2014 Under-19 World Cup held in the UAE. He made his first-class cricket debut for Guyana in November 2015 in a match against the Windward Islands during the 2015–16 Regional Four-Day Competition.
In October 2019, Gudakesh was part of Guyana’s squad for the 2019–20 Regional Super50 tournament. He was the top wicket-taker in the 2021 Super50 series. In November 2021, he was picked for the West Indies ODI and T20I squads for the series against Pakistan.
He made his T20I debut on December 16, 2021, against Pakistan. Later in December, he was also included in the ODI squad for the series against Ireland.
