Honey Rose Varghese was born on September 5, 1991, in Moolamattom, Kerala, into a Syro-Malabar Catholic family. She studied at S.H.E.M High School, Moolamattom, and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communicative English from St. Xavier’s College for Women, Aluva.
Honey began acting at the age of 14, debuting in the Malayalam movie Boyy Friennd (2005), where she played a supporting role. She made her Tamil debut with the romantic drama Mudhal Kanave (2007) and entered Telugu cinema with Aalayam (2008).
Her career breakthrough came in 2012 with the role of Dhwani Nambiar in Trivandrum Lodge. Although she briefly adopted “Dhwani” as her screen name, she later reverted to Honey Rose.
She appeared in notable movies like Hotel California, Daivathinte Swantham Cleetus (with Mammootty), 5 Sundarikal, and Thank You. She also acted in Ring Master with Dileep, Sir C.P. with Jayaram, and My God with Suresh Gopi.
Honey made a Tamil cinema comeback with Pattaampoochi (2022) and later starred in Monster (2022) with Mohanlal, which received praise for her performance. In 2023, she returned to Telugu films with Veera Simha Reddy alongside Nandamuri Balakrishna after a nine-year gap.
