Nikhil Kamath was born on September 5, 1986, in Shimoga, Karnataka, and grew up in Udyavara, a small town in Udupi. His father, Raghuram Kamath, worked at Canara Bank, and his mother, Revathi Kamath, played the veena. Nikhil dropped out of school after 10th grade and didn’t pursue any formal education.
