Career Journey Of Cruz Hewitt  

Cruz started playing in his first junior tennis tournament in January 2022, just after turning 13. He got a wildcard entry into the J1 Traralgon qualifying draw. In May 2022, he won his first junior ITF match at the J5 Darwin tournament.

In November 2022, Cruz, at just 13, won his first junior ITF title in Fiji, beating Cristian Care in the final. He started 2023 by entering the Australian Open qualifiers but lost to top seed Adhithya Ganesan in the first round.

Later, in May 2023, he won his second junior ITF title at a tournament in the Virgin Islands. In January 2024, at 15, Cruz Hewitt made his junior Grand Slam debut by getting a wildcard entry into the Australian Open boys’ singles.
